About the Role
The fully remote Couples Therapist position (full-time or part-time) will provide outpatient individual, couples, children and adolescents, and family therapy to clients of Realize You Therapy & Counseling Services, LCSW PLLC (Realize You Therapy). Clinical therapy services include treatment of adolescents, adults, couples and families. We are currently looking for an associate marriage and family therapist who wants to expand their clinical skills and be a part of a collaborative team. To allow for growth of caseload and to ensure a good fit, the position begins as a fee-for-service position for three to six months before the option to become a part time or full time employed associate therapist with full benefits. This position also includes training in various areas of psychotherapy, such as trauma, anxiety, addiction, couples, and families. If you want to be part of a work family, apply!
Perform remote clinical therapy services to patients of Realize You Therapy, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
Regular, reliable, and prompt attendance to all work responsibilities, especially scheduled client sessions.
Must be able to work either evenings or weekends.
Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Realize You Therapy.
Communicate openly and honestly with supervisor(s)
Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. or through the Realize You Therapy website. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.
Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
Timely complete written records for each patient including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Realize You Therapy or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patient within a timely fashion. Keep patient files accurate and up to date.
Attend mandatory meetings and trainings as directed by Realize You Therapy. Conduct therapy and counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of Realize You Therapy. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers. Passion for working with others (being collaborative) and helping our team members grow and learn.

Qualifications & Skills
Align with Realize You Therapy mission, vision, and values.
Master’s Degree; Marriage and Family Therapist preferred
Must have a limited permit or associate number in the state of New York (MFT-LP).
Available to hold at least 16 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Realize You Therapy.
Available for weekly 1 hour supervision with assigned Supervisor(s)
Available for weekly 1 hour trainings
Available for bi-weekly Team Meetings on the first and third Wednesdays of the month
Fully remote position requires a reliable and consistent computer, internet, and phone in a confidential and quiet space.
Background check required.

Have strong written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Prior experience in a private practice setting is highly preferred.
